SOLUTION: In a distance measuring apparatus having a blurring correlation amount operating unit (103) for operating correlation amount of blurring in each of process target areas (k1, k2) including distance measuring target pixel among a plurality of images in which blurring imaged by different imaging parameters is different, and an object distance-deciding unit (109) for calculating an object distance in every process target area from correlation amount of blurring operated in every process target area, the blurring correlation amount operating unit (103) comprises a pixel correlation amount operating unit (106) for operating the correlation amount of blurring of a pixel unit in every pixel within the process target area, a weighting control unit (107) for setting a weight coefficient of the correlation amount of blurring of the pixel unit in every pixel within the process target area, and a weighting average-operating unit (108) for operating a value of the weighting average as the correlation amount of blurring of the process target area by performing weighting average of the correlation amount of blurring of the pixel unit based on the weight coefficient.
