<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe for dental materials which has a lid member opened and closed easily, shows excellent hermetic properties, and further suppresses an increase in internal pressure inside the body of a container when the lid member is opened and closed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The syringe for dental materials has a plurality of external side spiral protruding parts 16 having a lead angle in a spiral direction on the peripheral surface of an end opening part of the body 4 of the container and a plurality of internal side spiral protruding parts 17 which engage the external side spiral protruding parts 16 of the body 4 of the container and have a lead angle in a spiral direction on the lid member 3 and is formed by including spiral protruding parts having an altered lead angle on at least one of the external side spiral protruding part 16 and the internal side spiral protruding part 17.
