PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and to save component mounting space. SOLUTION: A torque motor includes an armature to which n (n is an integer of 2 or above)-pieces of coils are wound, n-piece of switches which are disposed in accordance with n-pieces of coils and change over supply/interruption of power to the coils, n-pieces of power supplies which are arranged in accordance with n-pieces of switches and supply same power to the respective coils through the switches and a control part controlling on/off of the switches in accordance with necessary torque.
