<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel inlet to maintain corrosion prevention performance and easy to manufacture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This fuel inlet is furnished with an inlet pipe 2 to lead fuel to a fuel tank T, a breather tube 4 to extract vapor from the fuel tank T to the head end side of the inlet pipe 2 in injecting the fuel and a cylindrical retainer 10 inserted to an inner periphery of the head end side of the inlet pipe 2. A seam welded pipe formed in a pipe shape from a tinned and galvanized surface treated steel plate is used for the inlet pipe 2 and the breather tube 4, and cation electrodeposition coating is applied on them.
