<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dirt removing device for an optical disk for easily and rapidly removing dirt such as dust and a fingerprint without causing rubbing flaw. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A principal part of a cleaning roller is protruded from a lower part of a cleaner body and rotatably and freely detachably pivotally attached to the cleaner body. The cleaning roller adheres to a disk surface and moves in synchronization with rotation to remove dirt. An adhesive member is provided on at least a surface of the cleaning roller, the cleaning roller is formed by using an elastically deformed member so that only the principal part of the cleaning roller can come in contact with the disk surface and the principal part is provided so as to be protruded and deformed.
