<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide apparatus allowing setting of a necessary load capacity without changing a contact angle or a diameter of a rolling element. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The linear guide apparatus 1 is equipped with a guide rail 10 having rail side rolling element raceway surfaces 11-14 axially extending, a slider 21 having slider side rolling element raceway surfaces 22-25 facing the rail side rolling element raceway surfaces 11-14, and the rolling elements 30 disposed to freely roll between the rail side rolling element raceway surfaces 11-14 and slider side rolling element raceway surfaces 22-25. The rail side rolling element raceway surfaces 11-14 comprise two pairs of opposing upper and lower faces comprising a predetermined angle with respect to a direction orthogonal to the axial direction. The rolling element 30 comprises rolling elements 31, 32 of plural lengths the same or less than a width of the rail side rolling element raceway surface 11-14. The rolling elements 31, 32 are disposed to become rolling elements 30 with different lengths in the upper and lower or the right and left rail side rolling element raceway surfaces 11-14.
