The invention relates to a device for making safe in the event of leakage a water flushing mechanism comprising a cistern (1), a supply valve (5) whose inlet pipe (3) passes through the wall (2) of the cistern (1) and a support (7) for the vertical guidance of a float (8) which acts on control means to open and close the supply valve (5), the abovementioned control means comprising an electromagnetic actuator (22) of the valve (5) and at least one sensor (15) for detecting the presence of the float (8) at a predetermined level corresponding to the normal fill level of the cistern, said device being characterized in that, between the sensor (15) and the actuator (22), the control means comprising an electronic unit (13) for controlling the actuator (22) of the valve (5) that communicates with the actuator in a normal operating mode, based on the state of the sensor (15), and in a "safe" mode of the water flushing mechanism, which consists in keeping the valve (5) closed irrespective of the state of the sensor (15), and in that a manual resetting member (30) is provided to allow the electronic unit (13) to be reset and changed from the "safe" mode to the normal operating mode of the water flushing mechanism. |
