The device has an advertising surface (14) for alternatively displaying different advertising informations (23, 24). A position detecting device (16) tracks a movable object (19) e.g. ball, and detects the position of the object relative to the advertising surface. A control device (25) controls an exchange between different advertising informations in dependence of the object position. The controls device changes a frequency with which the advertising informations are exchanged, if the object is provided before the advertising surface.
