<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reducing the driving error of a motor even when the error included in the rotational angle of a shaft to be detected by a VR type resolver is increased. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises a permanent magnet synchronous motor 1, a control unit 2 for controlling the drive of the permanent magnet synchronous motor 1, and a VR type resolver 4 for detecting the rotational angle of a shaft 3 from the magnetic flux passing through a resolver rotor 26 and a resolver stator 27 provided on the shaft 3 of the permanent magnet synchronous motor 1. The resolver stator 27 includes a plurality of teeth 28 provided only in one area of the outer circumference of the resolver rotor 26 with their fore ends being opposite to the resolver rotor 26. The control unit 2 has a rotational angle corrective means 30 capable of presetting the actual rotational angle of the shaft 3 at the detected rotational angle corresponding to the detected rotational angle, and correcting the detected rotational angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
