<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology capable of obtaining royal jelly which has a hypotensive effect, especially an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibiting effect. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the royal jelly which has a hypotensive effect comprises a process of making protein splitting enzyme derived from Paenibacillus polymyxa act on royal jelly.
