摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk and a light receiving IC that can reduce influence of an asynchronous noise component with respect to a high-frequency signal. <P>SOLUTION: A first light receiving circuit 31 in the light receiving IC 30 which constitutes an optical disk apparatus 1 generates a voltage signal 102 showing an amount of light of a laser light L1 oscillated in a multimode. A second light receiving circuit 32 generates a voltage signal 101 showing an amount of light of a return light L2 from the optical disk 2. A binarization circuit 33 extracts and binarizes a band component of predetermined frequency in the voltage signal 102 and obtains a digital signal 103. A delay element 34 delays a phase of the digital signal 103 by a time corresponding to a phase difference between the voltage signals 101 and 102 and outputs the result as a timing signal 104. A sample/hold circuit (S/H) 35 samples and holds the voltage signal 101 in synchronization with the timing signal 104.
