<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gas-insulated switchgear wherein the switching surges of a circuit breaker and a disconnecting switch can be effectively suppressed to enhance its reliability and seismic adequacy can be enhanced to economically transport it. <P>SOLUTION: The horizontal circuit breaker CB of the gas-insulated switchgear is so constructed that one opening 11 formed in its metal container is coupled with an earthing switch ES through a current transformer CT. The earthing switch ES is sequentially coupled with devices on the line side, including the disconnecting switch DS and a connecting bus bar RB. The connecting bus bar RB is provided at an end with a bushing Bg connected with a transmission line. A capacitor C used to suppress the switching surge of the circuit breaker is provided and one constructed by housing an element in a metal container is used for this capacitor C. The metal container of the circuit breaker CB and the metal container of the capacitor C are placed in line on a common support 10. Further, the capacitor C is electrically and mechanically connected with the earthing switch ES and each device on the line side is thereby supported thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
