<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower structure of a vehicle reducing the air resistance of the vehicle, and enhancing the durability of a center support. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the lower structure of the vehicle, a thermal barrier plate having a hat-shaped section arranged above an exhaust pipe and a muffler are divided into a front side thermal barrier plate and a rear side thermal barrier plate between a center support of a propeller shaft and the muffler, the front side thermal barrier plate is arranged between the exhaust pipe and the center support, and the rear thermal barrier plate is arranged above the propeller shaft. The height and the width of a curved part formed on the front side thermal barrier plate are reduced on the rear side of the vehicle from the center support, and a vehicle rear end of the curved part is formed in a sectional shape along an upper surface of the muffler.
