<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet delivery apparatus capable of suppressing sheet jamming, and an image forming apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises a paper delivery tray 10 and a pair of carrier roller groups 20. An extension tray 13 turnable around a rotating shaft 14 is mounted to the paper delivery tray 10. The extension tray 13 is formed with a projecting part 30 projecting in a separating direction from the paper delivery tray 10 in a storage position. When the paper delivery tray 10 is in a path constituting position for constituting a first sheet delivery path S1 along the rear side outer surface of a body casing 2, a bearing 24 provided at the carrier roller group 20 contacts the projecting part 30.
