摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of controlling unnecessary power consumption by generating a drive voltage corresponding to the number of serially connected LEDs constituting an LED illumination part even if the number of LEDs varies. SOLUTION: An optical adapter 9A in which a lens, the LED illumination part 13A and an identification part 15A are mounted is replaceably mounted in the distal end of an insertion part of an endoscope unit 3. A resistance RA of the identification part 15A is identified by an optical adapter kind identification part 23, and a CPU 24 sets the resistance value of a variable resistance R2 of a regulator part 31 as a variable voltage source constituting an LED driving circuit 21 at the value to generate the driving voltage corresponding to the number of the serially connected LEDs 14 of the LED illumination part 13A based on the information of the identification.
