<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head for obtaining sufficient frictional force with a ball and improving the dischargeability of foreign matters from a face line, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the club head 1 having a ball hitting face 2, wherein the face 2 includes a hitting surface 7 and at least one face line 8 recessed in the hitting surface 7. The hitting surface 7 includes a rough surface portion 7a having an arithmetic mean surface roughness Raf of 0.20 to 0.55μm, and the surface of the face line 8 has an arithmetic mean roughness Ra1 smaller than the arithmetic mean roughness Raf of the rough surface portion 7a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
