<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein in a guidance apparatus for receiving the radiowave from a radiowave source, such as a radar, without emitting radiowaves by itself, and tracking this received signal, that sometimes a target disappears and the tracking cannot be continued, because whether the radiowaves can be received continuously is dependent upon the radiowave source behavior, and the cause of the disappearance of the target is thought as being the radiowave source changing the frequency which goes out of the range of the receiving band frequency, or that the receiving power is decreased due to the effect of the radar scanning cycle, but it is very difficult to search the former and the latter, at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: In the guidance apparatus, the search of the different frequency band can be performed at the same time, by controlling separately the SUM (elecric power sum) system receiving band frequency and the DIF (elecric power difference) system band frequency. As a result, the influence on the radiowave emitting situation from the radiowave source is reduced, and the tracking time is extended enabling to improve the guidance performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
