<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit operation of a lock bolt and completely prevent generation of a theft even if a key cylinder is removed by breakage thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A steering lock device is provided with: the key cylinder 22 mounted on the first opening 11 of the housing 10; a camshaft 27 rotating integrally with the key cylinder 22; the lock bolt 32 moved from a lock position toward an unlock position by rotating the camshaft 27; and an ignition switch 38 attached to the second opening portion 12 of the housing 10. Further, an inhibition member 40 is also provided which is maintained in a non-engaging position not engaging with the lock bolt 32 or the camshaft 27 under an engaging state of the key cylinder 22 and which engages with the lock position 32 or the camshaft 27 in a lock position under the state that the key cylinder 22 is removed. The housing 10 is provided with an inhibition member storage portion 19a for storing the inhibition member 40 by being inserted from the second opening portion 12, and the inhibition member storage portion 19a is blocked by attaching the ignition switch 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
