PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a norbornene-based resin film the thermal oxidative deterioration of which can be prevented and die stripes on which can be leveled.

SOLUTION: A method for producing the norbornene-based resin film includes the steps of: melting a norbornene-based resin in an extruder 14 and extruding the molten resin therefrom; discharging the film-shaped resin 12A from a die 16; and supplying an inert gas such as nitrogen toward a discharge port of the die 16 from supply tubes 32, 34 so that the concentration of oxygen on the periphery of the discharge port of the die 16 is ≤10%.
