<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking work support device requiring no setting work for changing the position of a detecting device, even if the arrangement of storage boxes is changed, and the picking work support device requiring no increases of the detecting device, even if the number of the storage boxes is increased. <P>SOLUTION: This picking work support device is provided with a group of the storage boxes, an optical sensor and a computer. Each of the group of the storage boxes stores each picking object. The optical sensor has a panel-shaped monitoring range formed on a front side of the group of the storage boxes, and transmits a detection control signal including positional information when detecting a monitoring object passing the monitoring range while performing the picking work. The computer receives the detection control signal and decides whether or not the monitoring object passes a position corresponding to the position of the right storage box. When the monitoring object does not pass the position corresponding to the position of the right storage box, the computer notifies to the effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
