PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably determine gas appliances by reducing human work as much as possible. SOLUTION: A gas appliance determination apparatus 1 including both a flow waveform measuring means 11a for measuring the flow waveforms of a channel and a classification means 11b for classifying the types of a plurality of gas appliances connected to the downstream side of the channel on the basis of the characteristics of the flow waveforms includes a means 11c for detecting corresponding quantities of flow used while the gas appliances are used; a duration detection means 11d for measuring the durations of the quantities of flow detected by the means 11c for detecting used quantities of flow; and a determination means 11e for determining the types of the gas appliances on the basis of the relations among the types of the gas appliances classified by the classification means 11b, the quantities of flow, and the durations.
