PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a structure for attaching a safety rope suitable for attachment to a folded plate roof. SOLUTION: This safety rope attaching equipment comprises: an upper arm 2 which is formed in a linear shape in a plan view, and installed on the roof surface of the folded plate roof 21 in a lateral view; a retainer plate 3 which is integrated with a lower end of a bent vertical portion formed at the front end of the upper arm 2; a control lever 5 which is swingably pivoted on an upper horizontal portion 2c, in which a sandwich plate 4 capable of being connected/disconnected to/from the top surface of the retainer plate is pivoted on a lower end, and in which one end of a connecting rope 9 is attached to an upper end; and a lock device 10 which is fixed to an upper portion of the other end of a lower horizontal portion 2a, so as to undergo the insertion of the connecting rope 9, and which rotatably supports a lock lever 14 urged to the meshing side of the connecting rope 9. The upper arm 2 is installed on the roof; the retainer plate 3 is positioned on the undersurface of the eaves of the roof; and the control lever is tilted by pulling the connecting rope 9, so that an eaves end of the roof can be fixed by being pinched between the sandwich plate 4 and the retainer plate 3.
