<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set an appropriate image quality adjustment value according to a selected input terminal and a selected output terminal. <P>SOLUTION: When a combination of an input terminal and an output terminal is selected by a user operation, an input image quality adjustment value set for the input terminal is added to an output image quality adjustment value set for the output terminal to determine a processing image quality adjustment value. Image processing means adjusts the input image data to the processing image quality adjustment value and transmits the data to an image receiving device.
