<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in vivo tissue closing device for easily and reliably closing an open wound formed on an in vivo tissue membrane. <P>SOLUTION: A clip 4 includes a clip body 40 and a thread 46. The clip body 40 includes a seal part 41, a deformable deformation part 42, and a connection part 44 for connecting the seal part 41 and the transformable deformation part 42 and going through the open wound. Swelling parts 47 are provided respectively so as to cover outer surfaces on a surface and side face on the deformation part 42 side of the seal part 41, an opposite surface to the seal part 41 of the deformation part 42 when the deformation part 42 is in a second shape, and a side face of a part corresponding to the opposite face.
