<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start an engine irrespective of a driving condition of a load. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 50 applies a torque from a stator 16 onto an output side rotor 18 to rotationally drive the output side rotor 18 along an engine rotational direction, when starting the engine 36, and controls a boost ratio in a boost converter 94 to apply the torque between an input side rotor 28 and the output side rotor 18. The electronic control unit 50 determines further whether to transmit the torque between the output side rotor 18 and wheels 38 by a clutch 47, based on a required torque of the wheels 38, and the torque acting from the stator 16 onto the output side rotor 18 is controlled based on the torque acting between the input side rotor 28 and the output side rotor 18 and the required torque of the wheels 38, when allowing the torque transmission between the output side rotor 18 and wheels 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
