<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin bottle whose mouth does not allow an unexpected amount of a beverage to overflow by preventing the deformation or bend of a barrel when the long side of a barrel side face above a peripheral groove is held. <P>SOLUTION: This synthetic resin bottle 1 has a mouth 2, a shoulder 3, a barrel 4 and a bottom part 5. The barrel whose cross section perpendicular to a bottle axis line is in a rectangular shape and has a long side 8, a short side 9 and a corner 10, has a peripheral groove 11 dividing the barrel part into the top and the bottom, a plurality of lateral ribs 19 formed along the peripheral direction of the rectangular shape and beads 15 formed between neighboring two lateral ribs 14. A plurality of the beads 15 formed in the upper part 4a of the barrel have ends 21 receding toward the bottle inside at a position closer to a corner more than the center relative to the long side of the barrel side face and the end 21 forms a vertical rib 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
