PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic connecting device capable of effectively reducing impact noise.

SOLUTION: This electromagnetic connecting device 1 has connecting parts 20 and 30 and a connecting object part 10 arranged so as to be capable of mutually relatively advancing-retreating, a switching means 40 for switching the connecting parts 20 and 30 and the connecting object part 30 to a connecting state of being brought into pressure contact with each other and a mutually separated unconnected state by operating electromagnetic force, and a shock absorbing means 50 for absorbing at least a part of impact energy generated when the connecting parts 20 and 30 abut on the connecting object part 10 or the other member 40 different from the connecting object part 10 in response to the connecting state or the unconnected state.
