PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus of cleaning a filter capable of increasing the cleaning capacity of a filter by controlling the jetting velocity of a cleaning liquid and gas to a filter in predetermined patterns and to obtain a system of cleaning a filter with the apparatus. SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus 1A that cleans a filter 50 by jetting a cleaning liquid and gas onto the filter 50 includes in row(s) of liquid nozzles 23a that are arranged in the same direction as a jetting direction of a cleaning liquid, each row having a liquid nozzle group 22A with at least 3 nozzles, n row(s) of gas nozzles 38a that are arranged in the same direction as a jetting direction of a cleaning gas, each row having a gas nozzle group 37A with at least 3 nozzles, a jetting liquid flow controlling mechanism 25a configured such that the flow rate of the cleaning gas jetted from the nozzle 23a may be controlled, and a jetting gas flow controlling mechanism 41a configured such that the flow rate of the cleaning gas jetted from the nozzle 38a may be controlled.
