PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both improvement of foreign matter passage performance by expanding the diameter of a flow passage and reduction in power by contracting the diameter of an impeller while obtaining mechanical balance and hydraulic balance by mounting a balance weight 64, in the impeller (impeller body 61) for a centrifugal pump. SOLUTION: The balance weight 64 has a vertical shape having the height in a cylinder axis direction set larger than the thickness in the radial direction.
