<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eraser which enables imparting of the self-collecting property of rub tailings. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This eraser contains vinyl chloride resin and a chemical compound of such a constitution as represented by formula 1 as essential constituents. R is a 1 to 4C alkyl group. There is a double bond of oxygen at both ends of a molecule and 11 carbon chains exist between the double bonds of oxygen. The molecules of the vinyl chloride resin in the rub tailings composition, are mutually adsorbed by a ricinoleic acid-based plasticizer, and thereby the molecules of the vinyl chloride resin become worn out in chain reaction fashion, thus imparting the self-collecting property.
