PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device which can transmit/receive, with high reliability, an electromagnetic wave to/from an electromagnetic wave transmission medium. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave interface device 300 transmits/receives electromagnetic waves to/from an electromagnetic wave transmission medium 100 having a first conductive layer with a mesh conductor, a second conductive layer arranged nearly in parallel with the first conductive layer, and a dielectric layer arranged between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. When transmitting/receiving the electromagnetic wave to/from the electromagnetic wave transmission medium, the electromagnetic wave interface device 300 has a first electrode portion 310 facing the first conductive layer, a second electrode portion 320 facing the second conductive layer, and a latching portion 350 latching the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion so that the electromagnetic wave transmission medium may be held by the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion.
