The hinge (10) has hinge pins pivotally connecting hinge parts (2, 4) with each other such that a rotary point of a rotary joint lies within a plane. The plane is fixed in a swing element (1) e.g. swing door, and a stationary element (1'), where the swing element is strengthened with the hinge parts. One of the hinge parts (2) has a counter plate on a side of an element to be strengthened, where a shape of an edge of the counter plate corresponds to a shape of an edge (11) of the former hinge part (2). An independent claim is also included for a swing element system comprising a hinge.
