Provided is an easy-to-use superior specimen test tube refrigeration and cold-storage device equipped with an adiathermic container (7), a heat-conductive top panel (15) in which multiple open parts are formed that is arranged to cover an opening of said container, tubular heat-conductive retaining members (11) that protrude into the container (7) from the multiple open parts, and a cold-storage agent (13) that fills the inside of the container (7). The specimen test tube refrigeration and cold-storage device can be used immediately upon being removed from a freezer, satisfy two conflicting requirements, i.e., fast cooling of the specimen and cold-storage over a long period of time, and can be used in clinical settings.
