<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the vaporization of fuel used for an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: This method is provided for improving vaporization in the fuel for the engine having one cylinder 10, a combustion chamber 18, an intake valve 26 joined to an intake pipe 28, an exhaust valve 32 including an exhaust pipe 34, control means 36 and 38 controlling the opening/closing of the valve and fuel injection means 40 and 44 by operating according to a conventional mode and/or at least a partial homogeneous mode. This method generates a mixture of the fuel and exhaust gas by performing fuel injection by at least one time into the exhaust pipe 34 when finishing an exhaust stroke, sends the mixture into the combustion chamber 18 by opening the exhaust valve at least once again, sends an intake fluid into the combustion chamber via the intake pipe 28 before finishing an intake stroke, closes the exhaust valve 32 before finishing the intake stroke by injecting the fuel into the combustion chamber, stops the fuel injection into the exhaust pipe, and closes the intake valve 26 when finishing the intake stroke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
