PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial nail composition which is an artificial nail material coated on a natural or artificial nail, easily imparts a special appearance to the tip of the finger by coating the composition on the surface of a natural or artificial nail followed by polymerization and, more particularly, an artificial nail composition which is vivid and has a natural color tone having a transparent sensation that has been unable to be achieved by conventionally used artificial nail compositions containing an organic and/or inorganic colorant utilizing an absorbing and/or scattering phenomenon of light, and imparts special appearance by an interference color. SOLUTION: The artificial nail composition includes: a component (a) a compound having at least one radical polymerizable unsaturated double bond in the molecule; a component (b) a radical polymerization initiator; a component (c) an organic and/or inorganic colorant utilizing an absorbing and/or scattering phenomenon of light; and a component (d) an inorganic colorant having at least one kind of interference color. The amount of the component (b) is 0.01 to 10 parts by weight, the amount of the component (c) is 0 to 10 parts by weight and the amount of the component (d) is 0.01 to 20 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the component (a).
