PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object discrimination device capable of detecting and discriminating surely a measuring object even when a person such as a pedestrian is the measuring object. SOLUTION: In this object discrimination device, when receiving by a receiver 103, an electromagnetic wave transmitted by using an electromagnetic wave generator 101 and a transmitter 102 and reflected by the measuring object OB, it is detected by an absorption object detection part 107 based on a waveform of a received signal that an absorption object of the electromagnetic wave is included in the measuring object OB, and the kind of the measuring object OB including the absorption object detected by the absorption object detection part 107 is discriminated by a skin discrimination part 108.
