PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for making ink flow positively by a small and simple configuration in a platen for inkjet recording. SOLUTION: The platen 42 comprises a first plate 51 having a comb tooth portion 62 where a plurality of rod members 65 are extended in parallel from a stem 61 with a space between one other and each rod member 65 is arranged in a recording area, a second plate 52 which is arranged in the recording area and forming a comb tooth portion 72 where a plurality of rod members 75 are extended in parallel from a stem 71 with a space between one other and each comb tooth portion 72 meshes the comb tooth portion 62 of the first plate 51, and a drive mechanism 53 which slides the first plate 51 and the second plate 63 relatively in the direction 101 of conveyance and changes the position between a first position where the comb tooth portions 62 and 72 are meshed and a second position where the comb tooth portions 62 and 72 are separated.
