<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device capable of suppressing a time lag until light emission is stopped after a light emission stop signal is output and overexposure associated therewith to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: The stroboscopic device 1 includes: a light emission circuit 5 provided with a flash discharge tube 3 and an IGBT 4 in a discharge loop of a main capacitor 2; a trigger means 8 exciting the flash discharge tube 3; and an IGBT driving means turning ON/OFF the IGBT 4 by controlling application of gate voltage to the IGBT 4 based on the light emission signal, wherein a gate voltage variable means 9 varying gate voltage to be applied to the IGBT 4 in accordance with a light emission current value of the light emission circuit 5, is included. The gate voltage to be applied to the IGBT 4 is set to a value obtained by adding predetermined minimum voltage to the minimum necessary gate voltage depending on the light emission current value of the light emission circuit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
