<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle individual information reading device capable of recording and reading the individual information of the larger number of nozzles than in a conventional device without increasing the size of a camera: and to provide a component mounter, a nozzle individual information reading method and a component mounting method. <P>SOLUTION: A display portion 15a for indicating as to whether an additional nozzle mark 16 recording additional individual information not recordable in a nozzle mark 15 is provided on a nozzle 14 is provided on one part of the nozzle mark 15. An image recognizing section 26b recognizes an image of the display section 15a together with the image recognition of the nozzle mark 15, and when it is determined that the additional nozzle mark 16 is provided on the nozzle 14, image pickup means (substrate camera 31 and an operation control section 26a) pick up an image of the additional nozzle mark 16, and the image recognizing section 26b recognizes an image based on the image of the additional nozzle mark 16 obtained by the image pickup means to read additional individual information recorded in the additional nozzle mark 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
