<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber which is excellent in flexing abrasion resistance, is small in the rate of the deterioration of strength, even when a polysiloxane metal compound is added even at a concentration as high as 20 mass%, and is excellent in the balance between flexing abrasion resistance and strength.
