<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper half body garment free from bulkiness or stiff feeling, obscure form outside, and having perspiration-absorbing function without losing fashionable feeling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The upper half body garment includes a front body 1, a back body 2, both side bodies 3 and a perspiration-absorbing pad 4. The perspiration-absorbing pad 4 is made of a fabric piece having the same width as that of the side body 3. The perspiration-absorbing pad 4 is disposed on the inside of the side of the side body 3. Both ends 4c, 4c of the perspiration-absorbing pad 4 are sewn up in a single string or in part along the longitudinal direction of the front body 1 and the back body 2 together with both ends 3a, 3a in the width direction of the side body 3 to thereby form a hollow pocket 5.
