PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate a sole architecture which supports at least a part of the foot of a human being and provides the accumulation and acquisition of energy. SOLUTION: This sole architecture contains a level layer which consists of an elastic material, one chamber which is contiguity arranged on the first side of the layer, and at least one of actuators which is contiguity arranged on the second side of the layer which is aligned at right angles to a corresponding chamber. Each of the actuators has the magnitude of a smaller footprint than the corresponding chamber and is arranged after the magnitude is decided so as to respectively give support to each of the foot bones of the human being. A support structure presses the actuator to the layer and moreover moves a part of the layer to the inside of the corresponding chamber if compressed. In one embodiment, by employing two or more actuators which move in both upward and downward directions within the corresponding chamber, the accumulation and return of operation energy are performed. In another embodiment, by employing an actuator with convex-like taper which accommodates the natural rotational movement of the foot, level stability improves. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
