PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber tensile testing method capable of clarifying anisotropy in tensile test due to the effects of calender grain etc. of vulcanized rubber even through the use of a testing apparatus for ring-like test strips. SOLUTION: With a racetrack-shaped test strip 1 consisting of a pair of semicircular parts 2 and a pair of linear parts 3 connecting both semicircular parts 2 wound around latch parts 4a and 4b at the semicircular parts 2, one latch part 4b is linearly separated and displaced from the other latch part 4a.
