<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing reduction in transfer performance, fixing performance and stacking performance of a carried-out recording medium, when forming an image by carrying in the transfer part, the fixing part and a carrying-out part of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device has a recording medium detecting means 78 for detecting that the tip of the recording medium P arrives at the fixing part 30 or the carrying-out part 18, and a speed control means 80 for changing a carrying speed of the recording medium P in the fixing part or the carrying-out part to a predetermined speed faster than an ordinary speed until the tip of its recording medium arrives for predetermined time less than time for carrying the total length of the recording medium after the tip of the detected recording medium arrives. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
