PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas purification equipment which enables long-time continued operation of wet scrubbers and, at the same time, can reduce waste water load, and a gasification equipment having the same. SOLUTION: The gas purification equipment 14 which removes dust contained in a gas supplied from an upstream side and discharges the gas to a downstream side includes wet scrubbers 15, 16, wherein while replenishing the wet scrubbers 15, 16 with a predetermined amount of makeup water, liquid containing in high concentration dust floating on the surface of water is allowed to overflow and discharged to the outside.
