<p>Moulding compn. comprises blend of polyester resin with 1 - 30 wt. % styrene monomer contng. mixture of 1 - 7 wt. % filler, catalyst and hardener for resin. This is placed in mould, heated 20 - 40 min. at 65 - 79 degrees C, removed from mould and heated another 1 - 2 hr. at 79 - 107 degrees C. These mouldings can be used as wall or floor tiles or bricks. They can be made to resemble marble, stone or brick but are much lighter whilst having same strength for structural and other purposes.</p> |
