FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: cartridge for introduction of intraocular lens according to first version contains a) case, which has internal clearance; b) tubular tip which has external wall and hole; c) upper arched element protruding distally from hole; and d) at least one peripheral protrusion spreading laterally from external tip wall proximally with respect to hole. Tip protrudes distally from case and hole is connected via flowing medium with internal case clearance. Cartridge for introduction of intraocular lens according to second version contains: a) case, which has internal clearance; b) tubular tip which has external wall and hole; c) upper arched element protruding distally from hole; and d) many protrusions spreading laterally from external tip wall proximally with respect to hole. Tip protrudes distally from case and hole is connected via flowing medium with internal case clearance. Upper arched element partly surrounds hole from place corresponding to approximately 9:00 on clock, to place, corresponding to approximately 3:00 on clock. Cartridge for introduction of intraocular lens according to third version contains: a) case, which has internal clearance; b) tubular tip which has external wall and hole; c) upper arched element protruding distally from hole; and d) many protrusions spreading laterally from external tip wall proximally with respect to hole. Tip protrudes distally from case and hole is connected via flowing medium with internal case clearance. Upper arched element partly surrounds hole from place corresponding to approximately 10:00 on clock, to place, corresponding to approximately 2:00 on clock. Method of introduction of intraocular lens into eye includes following operations: a) providing cartridge for introduction of intraocular lens, cartridge has case, tip and distal end, distal end having hole and upper arched element, protruding distally from hole, and at least one peripheral protrusion; b) making a cut in eye; c) inserting upper arched element of cartridge for introduction of intraocular lens into cut; d) bringing eye in contact with peripheral protrusion in order to prevent further inserting of distal end into cut; and e) inserting intraocular lens through cut and in eye. ^ EFFECT: inventions provide possibility to use smaller cut. ^ 15 cl, 6 dwg |
