The device has a working head (2) attached to a shaft (1) and covered with a set of abrasive particles (11) i.e. diamond grains, at a front end portion of the head. The head is flattened at an upper side up to a center plane, and is flattened on a working head lower side (6) of the head opposite to the upper flattened side. Each of the flattened lower side and the flattened upper side includes a hard layer that is made of titanium nitride or zirconium dioxide, where the flattened upper side and the flattened lower side are formed parallel to each other.
