PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intrusion detection system with superior reliability and maintenance-free features. SOLUTION: An intruder trying to climb over a fence on the premises is detected by an FBG-type detection sensor 1, and an intruder trying to break the fence is detected by an OTDR-type detection sensor 2. A fiberoptic cable used for a detection sensor comprises a sensor core wire with a LAN transmission channel core, wire arranged in parallel thereto to serve as a LAN transmission channel, where the LAN transmission channel core wire is used to transmit photographed image signals and photographic control signals from ITV cameras 8 to an ITV control device 6 in a monitoring room 3. An IP telephone 11, a LAN terminal 12, a wireless LAN terminal 14 and an IP-BOX 15 for internet communication can be connected to the LAN transmission channel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
