A fastener driving device (10) includes a frame, a fastener driver (33) reciprocally mounted in the frame, and a trigger assembly (39). The trigger assembly (39) includes a trigger lever (51) configured to be moved to an actuated position to actuate the fastener driving device (10), a mode selector (60) rotatably mounted to the frame, the mode selector (60) being configured to move to select a mode of operation of the fastener driving device (10), and a trigger lock (64) mounted to the frame, the trigger lock (64) being movable between a first position wherein actuation of the trigger lever (51) is permitted and a second position wherein actuation of the trigger lever (51) is prevented. In the first position, the trigger lock (64) engages the mode selector (60) to prevent the mode selector (60) from moving. In the second position, the trigger lock (64) disengages the mode selector (60) to permit movement of the mode selector (60) to select the mode of operation of the fastener driving device (10).
